Menya Zovut Masha: Acoustic Concert

Arc Space London

On 15 November at 18:00, we invite you to Arc Space for an intimate acoustic concert by Masha Rodicheva!“I will sometimes think about how the trains run back home.”Masha Rodicheva is a musician and singer-songwriter whose songs feel like pages from a personal diary. Through her music, she tells stories of a home left far behind and gradually rediscovered, of love, attachment, encounters and farewells. These deeply personal stories often reflect feelings and experiences we can all recognise in ourselves.Masha was born in Moscow but left Russia in 2022. She first moved to Armenia, then to Georgia, and now lives in France. The experience of emigration has become an important part of her music, where memories of the past intertwine with the search for a sense of belonging in a new reality. On this evening, Masha will perform songs from her new album Poslezavtra (The Day After Tomorrow), which explores life after leaving home, alongside songs from her previous releases about war, emigration, love and separation. The evening will be an intimate acoustic performance, featuring piano, guitar, vocals and conversations between songs.A special part of the evening will be a screening of the music video More Zaberi (Sea, Take Me Away), shown for the first time following its festival journey. The video has received a total of 13 nominations and awards and was also selected for the official programme of the UK’s Aesthetica Short Film Festival, a BAFTA-qualifying festival. After the concert, guests will have the opportunity to chat, share their impressions and take home postcards and stickers as keepsakes.15 November, 18:00Arc SpaceWe look forward to spending this evening with you!
